About SpyderTrax:
"SpyderTrax" is a program developed in PERL (a "compile at runtime programming language"). This programming language is most commonly used to perform tasks on servers, either for websites or to manage data.

SpyderTrax will allow you to track some of the major search engines (incl. Google, Yahoo, MSN, Altavista, AllTheWeb, Inktomi etc.), without too much difficulty. Complete instructions are provided in the .zip file above, however there is not much more to this program than uploading 3 or 4 files to your server, and then placing a simple line of code on your web pages.

Details are included in the README.txt file about how to make the script track hits to both PHP pages and HTML pages.
